families in Calvert County. Financial Resources are always great but
in addition to finances we need laborers to address the many issues
in our community.
If you have no experience or are an
expert in your field CBW NEEDS YOU.

Concerned Black Women (CBW) of Calvert County Maryland

The name of this organization shall be THE CONCERNED BLACK WOMEN OF CALVERT COUNTY, MARYLAND. It is not part of any other organization but may work in collaboration with other organizations when program efforts share the purpose and mission of CBW. CBW is a non-stock and nonprofit member organization, incorporated in the State of Maryland on August 23, 2004. Organization Co-Founders are Annette J. Funn and Dr. Doris Cammack-Spencer. Membership is open to all who are 18 years of age who support the purpose and mission of CBW including to build better communities for all; pay annual membership dues upon joining and annually each year after the initial year. General membership meetings include an educational session held monthly, except August and December, on the 2nd Monday of each month, usually at the Prince Frederick Library. The CBW current Leadership is listed below.
